Geneva, Switzerland – November 27th, 2009 - Alcoa European Mill Products (EMP) announces today with immediate effect a further price increase on its conversion prices for all mill finish Commercial Rolled Products produced in their European operations Köfém/Hungary, Fusina/Italy and Amorebieta/Spain. This announcement follows earlier price increases published on EMP website www.alcoa.com/emp.
- Deliveries to mainland Europe: for all orders placed on or after Nov 27th, 2009 a 20 €/MT increase on the base conversion revenue of January 2009 is effective for February 2010 deliveries.
- Deliveries to the United Kingdom: for all orders placed on or after Nov 27th, 2009 a 30 £/MT increase on the base conversion revenue of January 2009 is effective for February 2010 deliveries.
- For all orders to be delivered over the period March-December 2010 further upcharges will be applied.
All existing orders and binding agreements confirmed before November 27th, 2009 will be honored.
